Chamber Cinema

“Chamber cinema” is a live film performance concept inspired by the emergence of chamber music in the late 15th century.

Chamber music was performed by small groups or sometimes a solo lute, designed to be played in intimate venues like homes and palace chambers rather than large churches. Departing from the dominant form of orchestras with a conductor, chamber music sparked new ways of composing and presenting music, fueled by the ability of the middle-class to attend concerts in the classical and romantic periods.

In chamber cinema performances, I assume the role of the itinerant troubadour, traveling from town to town performing ethereal video compostions live.
