University Film and Video Foundation

The University Film and Video Foundation was incorporated in 1957 with a mission to forward motion picture education worldwide. I served the Foundation for twenty years as an advisor, a Trustee, for six years as Treasurer where I grew the endowment nearly 40%, and finally as President.

I had the honor and privilege of working with my colleagues in academia and the motion picture industry to administer the thirty-year-old UFVF/KODAK Grant program that invests thousands of dollars in student filmmakers around the world. Under my presidency the foundation has embarked upon several new initiatives, including the development of a grant program for faculty in motion picture education.
